The new Archival History Timeline: 2500 BCE – 1900 CE is now available as a feature of AHN. Located as one of the Archival History Section Resources on AHN, the Archival History Timeline was compiled by the Co-editors of AHN, largely from an English translation of a text by Paul Delsalle (trans. Margaret Procter), A History of Archival Practice (New York: Routledge, 2018 [orig. 1998]). The Timeline remains a work in progress, one which has room to grow in size and sophistication. For example, the Timeline attempts to link each chronological event with an article on the internet, often the most currently relevant Wikipedia entry. But, the Co-editors need YOU — the readers and supporters of AHN — to contribute to the endeavor.
