Nominations: Section Member Elections, due May 15

Call for nominations to Archival History Steering Committee.  Please send any nominations by May 15, 2023.

Are you seeking an opportunity to expand both your own knowledge of archival history and your network of colleagues with similar interests? If so, consider joining the Steering Committee of the Archival History Section. We have four open positions, including Vice-Chair and Early Member Representative.

The Committee issues a wonderful newsletter (https://archivalhistory.news), sponsors annually an award about archival history, and works in other ways to keep abreast of archival history. This year we have begun an annual lecture and also conducted a survey of our members’ wants and needs. 

The Committee also serves to help you provide funders with more information about our professional history.

Please consider nominating yourself or a colleague. Your nomination should include a brief biography and a candidate statement (1-2 paragraphs) describing your interest in serving.
