After working as a co-editor on Archival History News since May 2017, Eric Stoykovich, PhD has decided to step down from this position, effective December 2022.
During his tenure as co-editor, Dr. Stoykovich collaborated with the Archival History Section (AHS) as a liaison for the newsletter as well as in the capacity of Steering Committee Member several years. He was instrumental in spearheading major projects undertaken in the newsletter, such as the Crowdsourced Special Collections or University Archives Histories’ Web Review, the AHS Bibliography, the ICHORA 2020 Presentation Reviews, and the ICHORA Bibliography as well as the author of many articles for Archival History News.
Since I was an intern with AHS in 2018, Eric has been a mentor to me and always provided excellent leadership and direction for the newsletter. I will forever be grateful for his guidance and support, in the past but especially in the time since he stepped down.
I want to commend him for his steadfast dedication to Archival History News, the Archival History Section, SAA, and the archives profession as a whole.
